Level / Specialization
Scholarships are available for students wishing to enroll for a Bachelor’s degree (with honors) / (LLB (with honors)) or a double degree program (including LLB (with honors)).
Nationality of the host country
To study at the University of Queensland in Australia scholarships must be applied for in Australia. If you are a foreign student and wish to study in Australia, this is the last requirement to obtain a permanent residency visa in Australia and obtain citizenship
The right to citizenship:

Two scholarships are offered: one covers 50% of tuition and the other 25% tuition for courses conducted under an approved legal program.
Scholarships do not include living expenses, travel expenses, overseas health insurance and fees for student services and facilities.

Entitlement to a scholarship from the TC Beirne Law Faculty (LLM):
International students who have applied for a Bachelor in Law and have not yet studied at the UQ.
Students should not have a similar scholarship at the same time.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and interest in a legal career. High achievers are encouraged to apply.

If you already have an application in UQ or have received an offer, you can apply for a scholarship by completing the application form with the following documents by 16 November 2019 at email@example.com.
Official academic certificate
- Personal explanation of why you want to pursue a legal career
- Two letters of recommendation
- Proof of English language skills (eg IELTS)
- Incomplete or late applications for a scholarship will not be considered.
- The scholarship committee will meet as soon as possible after the deadline and candidates will be informed in writing of the results.
- Each scholarship offer is subject to the approval of the applicant’s participation in the approved legal program at the University of Queensland.
